Your Post Title Here:
I'm around, but it's a tad bit busy 'round these parts.
At the moment (9:30pm) I have an electrician and a flooring guy in my kitchen. We're having electrical problems, which means I still don't have a stove/oven (yet!)
Lots of stuff has been put away, and it's really looking like "our" house.
The cats are pretty comfy now, and wait until you see the pictures I've taken of them. LAZY! Lounging around and doing a whole lot of nothing. This is why friends have told me that if there is such a thing as reincarnation, they want to come back as one of my pets. It's a cush life, lemme tell ya.
I'm off to sit in the corner and knit while these guys do their thing.
Tomorrow I'll get some pictures thrown up here.

I'm off to make another large dent in the moving boxes. I also need to go buy some coffee and flavored creamer, now that I've finally unearthed the coffee pot!
Tonight is the weekly SLO knitting group meetup (Starbucks in the Marigold Center at Tank Farm Road and Broad Street) and while I'm excited, I'm a bit nervous to be meeting strangers. I'll let'cha know how it goes.

A Beautiful Day:
The weather was just this side of hot, due to the cool breeze blowing through every open window here.
I unpacked three good-sized boxes and then lounged alongside the cats hanging out on the furniture.
Knitting was done (and the realization that my rug is not near enough completed), and loafing was done and enjoying the great outdoors was done.
All in all, a most perfect day weather-wise and life-wise.
Tomorrow is another hustle/bustle flurry of activity day for me whilest The Mike slays the dragon for us.

No More Non-Stop Barking!!
Did I tell y'all we have a huge berry bush in the back yard?
We do . . . and it's HUGE.
Whatever that fruit is, we have two good-sized threes that grow them
Actually, one of the trees is filthy with them
1/8th the crap originally piled up there
Shadow already ruling the roost

This was taken the very first night. All we wanted to do was get the bed made and climb in!

You can always find Pismo Beach by the standard wall of fog either coming in or going out

SQUIRRELLLLLLLL
Dude had a berry stashed in the rocks at the water
He was chowing down and loving it
Seriously. A squirrel with a berry. At the shoreline. Go figure.

Looking down Wadsworth towards Junkins (I went to rival Paulding, so we always refer to Judkins Jr. High as JunKins)
BIL's front door view of Pismo. THIS is the place to watch fireworks off the pier!
There y'all go - pictures galore!
(P.S. I did have my dental appt last Thursday, and then I had my bothersome (wisdom) tooth pulled Friday at seven in the freak'n morning! My mouth is still pretty sore from the three lidocaine (sp?) shots and from the gaping hole remaining, but once that pain is gone I'm free and clear and ready to dance around my house.)
